Embedded SBC Price Crash !!

AMB-D255T1 Mini-ITX industrial mainboard and AMB-N280S1 fanless 3.5-inch single board computer. AMB-D255T1 is equipped with Intel D2550 Atom processor and Intel N2800 Atom processor is on AMB-N280S1 both have 5~7 years product life cycle for longevity support.

AMB-D255T1 features powerful graphic performance via VGA and HDMI output, one DDR3 SO-DIMM socket, mSATA socket with USB signals and SIM slot, and a +12V DC jack for easy power input. AMB-D255T1 also provides complete I/O such as 4 x COM ports, 6 x USB2.0 ports, 1 x GbE RJ-45 port, 1 x SATA port with power connector.

AMB-N280S1 has variety I/O ports like 5 x serial ports (one is RS-232/422/485 selectable), 4 x USB2.0, 2 x GbE RJ-45 ports, and one Mini-PCIe expansion. It also offers 1 x SATA interface and power connector for the customers have large storage capacity request. How to solve thermal problem of In-Vehicle Computers

The easiest way to reduce heat for thermal problem is to use low voltage or even ultra-low voltage CPU. This kind of CPU has lower TDP and generates less heat. But at meanwhile, it has poor CPU performance and high cost.

   Instead of the easy way, we devote in the thermal design of the whole system. We analyze the system thermal model and design optimized heat sink and heat pipe solution to solve thermal problem. By this way, we can use general mobile CPU to keep good CPU performance and cost, at the same time, we still have good thermal performance in our system.

About Celeron Dual-Core processor

 Intel Celeron Dual-Core processor family is the latest generation of Celeron-branded budget microprocessors.

  • 32 KB instruction and 32 KB data cache per core;
  • Level 2 cache shared between two cores.
  • Support for SSE3 and Supplemental SSE3 instructions. Improvements in Core micro-architecture allow the CPU to execute up to one 128-bit SSE instruction each clock cycle.
  • Intel 64 technology, formerly known as Extended Memory 64 Technology, or EM64T.
  • Disable bit feature. When supported by operating system, this feature prevents system infection by certain group of viruses and malicious programs.
